2010 Epcot International Food & Wine Festival

19 January 2010 One Comment

2010 brings the 15th Annual Epcot International Food and Wine Festival in Walt Disney World! This 15th Annual year will be full of the things that make the Epcot Food and Wine Festival so special, including celebrity chefs from around the globe, noted international and local wineries and beverage-makers, a star-studded line-up of events, and a long list of special events from wine seminars to cookbook signings to 5-star dining opportunities for guests to enjoy.

This year’s Festival will run from October 1, 2010 — November 14, 2010, and Disney World plans on Celebrating Culinary Adventures! Some of the exciting things to anticipate will be:

Marketplace Promenade
Booths from dozens of countries will be set up along the World Showcase semi-circle promenade where you’ll be able to sample dishes from around the world. Each year, the Festival introduces a couple of new countries to the list!

Along the way, keep an eye open for specialty presentations and seminars that are free with your Epcot admission. In the past, these have included pasta-making presentations, beer seminars, and more!

Eat to the Beat Concerts
Epcot will be rocking out every evening during the Food and Wine Festival as the Eat to the Beat Concerts liven up the night. Disney brings some of your favorite bands and solo musicians to entertain every night throughout the festival. Stay tuned for the list of acts!

Specialty Events and Seminars
Throughout the festival, Disney schedules specialty events and seminars for guests to enjoy, including wine and cooking seminars with famous vintners and chefs, food and wine pairings at some of Disney’s best restaurants, cookbook and wine bottle signings by internationally renowned culinary experts, and the expensive (but worth it!) Party for the Senses. There are also events that focus on cheese, desserts, and more.

Remeber, Epcot Theme Park admission is required. Some Epcot International Food & Wine Festival events require ticket fees in addition to admission to Epcot. Availability is limited for some events. Events may be rescheduled or cancelled at any time.
