Disney’s “Camp Rock: The Final Jam” Video Game for Nintendo DS

Set to hit shelves this summer “Camp Rock: The Final Jam” for the Nintendo DS is a musical adventure game that will take players on an exciting journey through events based on the upcoming Disney Channel Original Movie, “Camp Rock 2 The Final Jam.” Expected to be rated “E for Everyone,” the game also includes access to DGamer, the online community exclusively for Disney gamers on the Nintendo DS, allowing them to chat with other players and unlock additional items in their game.

“Lost” to be Aired Internationally & Faster Than Ever for Series Finale

Disney Allocates $1.2 Million For Local Children’s Charities

Disney’s “Helping Kids Shine” grant is ready to distribute $1.2 Million to 57 different children’s charities throughout Orange, Osceola, Seminole, Lake and Polk counties in Florida. During a week-long traveling celebration Disney plans on recognizing & rewarding the money to local non-profits and organizations that share Disney’s commitment to building better futures for local children.

Live-Action Incredibles TV Show: “No Ordinary Family” on ABC

ABC is introducing a new TV series that will look mighty-familiar to Disney fans. “No Ordinary Family” debuts this Fall, introducing a Mom, Dad, brother, and sister who have super-powers…and are trying to live normal, suburban lives at the same time.
But it’s not exactly like The Incredibles because they weren’t born with their abilities. As seen in the NOF trailer, they acquire them while on vacation when their plane crashes into a body of water with “a phosphorescence.”

New LEGO Technology Set to Debut at Both Disneyland and Walt Disney World

Last year LEGO tested a new technology, called the “Digital Box Kiosk,” at it’s Walt Disney World retail location. In hopes of boosting popularity of the stores and increasing revenue LEGO will soon be expanding this technology into 20 of it’s stores nationwide; including both the Disneyland and Walt Disney World Downtown Disney stores.
According to Disneyology, when fans hold a LEGO package in front of the Digital Box Kiosk, they can see an animation on the screen of the completed LEGO project overlaid on the box in their hands. …

MAC Cosmetics Partners With Disney For New Villian Makeup Collection

Coming in September 2010 a new color collection by MAC Cosmetics, called “Venomous Villains,” will make it’s way to stores. Featuring lipstick, powder, lip gloss and blush the villain-inspired products are going to don the famous faces of four different Disney characters. The line will retail for $12. to $29.50.

Disney Plans Live Action Cinderella

Disney recently shelled out a seven-figure amount to pick up the rights to a live-action Cinderella adaptation. This on the heels of the blockbuster live-action version of Alice in Wonderland, and in the mix with the adaptations underway from numerous studios of The Wizard of Oz, Wicked, and other fairy tale stories.
The winner in this deal is Aline Brosh McKenna, screenwriter for The Devil Wears Prada and 27 Dresses, who pitched the story to Disney. Simon Kinberg will produce the film. Brosh McKenna and Kinberg worked together previously on …

“Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep” for PSP Game System to be Released Sept 7, 2010

Kingdom Hearts, the popular Disney crossover action role-play video game finally has a release date for it’s latest installment, “Birth by Sleep.” Set to be released for the PSP in North American stores on September 7th, 2010. Belgium and South Korea Come to the Epcot Food and Wine Festival

According to the Disney Food Blog, Belgium and South Korea will be joining the other Epcot International Food & Wine Festival kiosks around the World Showcase Promenade this year.
Each year, the Festival welcomes Chefs, Wineries, Breweries, Authors, and more from around the world for six weeks of foodie heaven. A big part of the festival is the over 25 booths set up around Epcot’s World Showcase Promenade, where tapas-sized portions of ethnic specialties are served up to park guests.
