2015 Epcot Food and Wine Festival Details

food and wine festival updatesWe’re just a couple months away from the start of this 2015 Epcot International Food and Wine Festival and we’re getting more details about the menus, booths, and special events for the 20th anniversary of the popular foodie fest.

Let’s talk about the booths first! This year the festival four new booths – Chew Lab, Cheese Studio, Sustainable Chew, and Wine Studio – and the festival is welcoming back the Dominican Republic booth which has been on hiatus since 2007!

Over the weekend Tables in Wonderland members were treated to a sneak peek at some of the food items coming to this year’s Food and Wine Festival including Pork Spareribs with Cheesy Mascarpone Grits from the Sustainable Chew booth, New York Strip, Parsnip Silk, Balsamic Glaze and Arugula Foam from the Chew Lab, and even a meat version of Haggis with Neeps and Tatties from the Scotland Booth.

Bookings for all special events will likely start on July 30 at 7 a.m. ET (remember that this date is subject to change). And while the Chase Lounge is returning to the festival this year we don’t have any specific details regarding booking information for Chase Disney Visa Cardholders.

Special events for this year include the Party for the Senses and the new Rockin’ Burger Block Party. Guests attending the Burger Block Party will get a chance to dine on an Oklahoma BBQ Beef Slider with Mmmhops Pale Ale Onion Fries and Smoked Bologna Baked Beans, and the South African Vegetarian Bunny Chow Slider.

Booking for the Food and Wine Festival low-cost seminars and demos is reportedly starting on July 24 at 9 a.m. for Tables in Wonderland members, Annual Passholders, DVC members, and Golden Oak residents. Booking for all other events and for the general public is scheduled to start on July 30 at 7 a.m.
