Dates Announced for Epcot’s Festival of the Holidays and Candlelight Processional

This weekend might be the unofficial start of summer, but Disney is already making plans for the winter holidays! The dates have been announced for the 2018 Epcot Festival of the Holidays and the Candlelight Processional.
The 2018 Festival of the Holidays will kick off November 18 at Epcot.
This Festival will once again feature Holiday Kitchen food booths, storytellers, and much more to celebrate the holidays at Epcot.
And this year, the Candlelight Processional begins ON Thanksgiving, November 22!
The narrators for this year have not yet been announced.

Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge Openings Announced

The opening seasons have been announced for Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at both Disneyland and Disney’s Hollywood Studios!
Galaxy’s Edge is slated to open in the summer of 2019 at Disneyland and then in late fall 2019 at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
No actual dates have been announced.

Locations Announced for Mobile Order in Disneyland

Mobile Order is coming to Disneyland and now we know the locations where guests will be able to use the service.
Guests will be able to use Mobile Order at: Bengal Barbecue, Galactic Grill, Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlor, Hungry Bear Restaurant, Jolly Holiday Bakery Café, and Red Rose Taverne in Disneyland Park.
At Disney California Adventure Mobile Order will be available at: Award Wieners, Clarabelle’s Hand-Scooped Ice Cream, Cocina Cucamonga Mexican Grill, Corn Dog Castle, Flo’s V8 Café, Lucky Fortune Cookery, Pacific Wharf Café, Paradise Garden Grill, and Smokejumpers Grill.

Celebrate the First Anniversary of Pandora – The World of Avatar with a Limited Release Banshee

May 27 marks the first anniversary of Pandora – The World of Avatar, and to celebrate Disney is celebrating with a limited release interactive banshee.
This new banshee will be available at The Rookery at Windtraders starting May 27.
The bioluminescent landscape-inspired banshee will come witha  display perch and a Certificate of Authenticity.
Guests can currently find 11 different banshees at The Rookery, including one created for the Animal Kingdom’s 20th anniversary.
The banshees are a popular souvenir for guests, and were recognized in 2017 by the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions …

Merchandise for ‘Solo: A Star Wars Story’ Arrives in Disney Parks

There’s a new slate of Disney Parks exclusive merchandise tied to Solo: A Star Wars Story – which opens May 25 in theaters nationwide.
The merchandise includes a Droid Factory action figure set with astromechs from the film.
Other items include T-shirts, baseball caps, jackets for men and women, plus individual pins, pin sets, and trading accessories.
Two new retail MagicBands are also part of the collection. There is an open edition MagicBand with Han Solo and Chewbacca, and a limited release MagicBand featuring Lando Calrissian.

Wine Bar George Now Open at Disney Springs

Wine Bar George officially opened at Disney Springs on Saturday, May 19.
This new spot is the only wine bar in the state of Florida that is owned and operated by a by a Master Sommelier. George Miliotes is one of just 249 Master Sommeliers in the world.
Guests visiting Wine Bar George will find more than 130 wine selections available by the glass, ounce, or bottle.
The menu also includes artisan cheese and charcuterie boards, small plates, and shareable entrees, that were created to pair well with various wines.

New After Fireworks Dessert Party Coming to the Magic Kingdom

There’s a brand new nighttime party coming to the Magic Kingdom and it’ll take place after the nightly fireworks!
The After Fireworks Dessert Party starts on May 28 at the Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant.
Guests will have a chance to enjoy desserts inspired by each of the lands of Magic Kingdom including: S’mores Action Station for Frontierland, Pineapple Delights for Adventureland, Ooey Gooey Toffee Cakes from Liberty Square, Macarons for Fantasyland, a Cookie Table for Tomorrowland, and Strawberry Tarts for Main Street U.S.A.

Disney Cruise Line Announces Fall 2019 Sailings

Disney Cruise Line has announced its sailings for the fall 2019 season.
The sailings include voyages from the East Coast, the West Coast, Texas, and Florida.
In September 2019 guests can sail on the Disney Magic from New York City to Bermuda or the Bahamas.
The sailings include: three five-night cruises featuring two days in Bermuda; one five-night cruise to Canada with a stop in Bar Harbor, Maine; and two seven-night sailings from New York to the Bahamas with a stop in Castaway Cay and a stop in Port Canaveral with a one-day …

Dates Announced for Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort

Summer is just around the corner, but it’s time to start planning your visit to Disneyland for this year’s Halloween Time celebrations!
The fun begins September 7 and runs through October 31 at Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure.
The festive celebration includes holiday overlays, Halloween decor, themed treats, specialty merchandise, and more.
Mickey’s Halloween Party happens on 15 nights during Halloween Time: September 19, 21, 24, 26, 28, and October 2, 5, 9, 12, 16, 19, 23, 26, 29, and 31.

Two Disney Vacation Club Member Cruises Planned for 2019

Disney Cruise Line has announced that there will be two Disney Vacation Club member cruises in 2019.
One cruise will sail from the East Coast and the other from the West Coast.
The first DVC member cruise is scheduled for May 15-20, 2019, and will sail from San Diego, California. The five-night cruise on board the Disney Wonder will stop in San Francisco and Victoria, British Columbia before disembarking in Vancouver, British Columbia.
