Check Out the Sip and Savor Pass at the Disney California Adventure Festival of Holidays

If you’re headed to the Festival of Holiday at Disney California Adventure, the Sip and Savor Pass is a great way to sample a lot of foods for one low price.
The Sip and Savor Pass includes a souvenir credential with eight pull-off tabs and the tabs can be used at the Festival booths to purchase food and non-alcoholic beverages.
This pass has only been available to Annual Passholder during past Festivals, but this year it’s available to all guests.
The price of the Sip and Savor Pass is $54, including tax.

Toy Story Hotel Announced for Tokyo Disney Resort

A new Toy Story-themed hotel has been announced for the Tokyo Disney Resort.
The hotel was announced by the Oriental Land Co. Ltd., and will open to guests in the fiscal year 2021 (which runs from April 1, 2021 to March 31, 2022).
The Toy Story hotel will feature 600 rooms and “everything will look like it is made of toys.” And, guests rooms will look like Andy’s bedroom from the films.
In addition to the as-yet-unnamed hotel, Oriental Land is also building a Fantasyland expansion at Tokyo Disneyland (expected in 2020), and …

Check Out the Finisher Medals for the 2019 Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend

The 2019 Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend is February 21-24, and runDisney has given participants a sneak peek at the finisher medals for the weekend’s races.
The Disney Princess 5K medal features Princess Elena, the Enchanted 10K finisher medal features Mulan, and the Princess Half Marathon medal features Sleeping Beauty’s Princess Aurora.
Those who finish the Disney Fairy Tale Challenge – which includes the 10K and half marathon – will get a finisher medal featuring Princess Jasmine.

Reservations Are Open for Gran Destino Tower at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort

Reservations are now available for stays beginning July 9, 2019 at the Gran Destino Tower at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort.
The new tower is the biggest part of the transformation of the moderate resort, which was inspired by “by the adventurous spirit of great Spanish explorers and historic innovative Spanish artists, writers and architects,” according to Disney.

Watch the Candlelight Processional Live on December 4

The Candlelight Processional is one of the most popular Disney holiday events, and this year you can watch a live-stream of the December 4 show on the Disney Parks Blog.
The Candlelight Processional is a retelling of the Christmas story featuring a choir, orchestra, and of course the celebrity narrators.
The December 4 performance features fan favorite Neil Patrick Harris as the celebrity narrator.

New Details Announced for the Gran Destino Tower at Coronado Springs

The new, 15-story Gran Destino Tower at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort is set to open in July 2019, and Disney recently released more details about the tower.
The tower will serve as the new main entrance for Coronado Springs, and will be home to more than 500 new rooms.
A themed table service restaurant will be located at the top of the tower, giving guests a rooftop view of Disney World.
Guests can start making reservations for the Gran Destino Tower beginning November 27. The tower is slated to open in July 2019.

Two Disneyland After Dark Events Announced for 2019

Disneyland After Dark is returning in 2019 with two special events – Sweethearts’ Nite on February 7 and 90s Nite on March 7.
Both events will take place at Disneyland with a mix-in access beginning at 6 p.m.
Sweethearts’ Nite on February 7 will include:

Love song-themed dance parties throughout the park, as well as a “Royal Ball” experience
Encounters with beloved Disney couples, including Eugene and Rapunzel, Aladdin and Jasmine, and of course, Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse

More Details Announced for Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy

Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy is slated to open in the spring of 2019 at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and we have more details about this new attraction.
Guests will take on the role of “rookie racers” and once they arrive inside the theater they’ll be face to face with Lightning McQueen.
Everyone – including McQueen – will be “enveloped by a giant, wraparound screen that is nearly two stories tall and stretches more than 200 feet from end to end.”

Disney Cruise Line is getting in on the fun of celebrating 90 years of Mickey and Minnie Mouse with Mickey and Minnie’s Surprise Party at Sea debuting next summer.
This new party at sea is an afternoon deck party exclusively on the Disney Fantasy that’s all about celebrating Mickey Mouse!
Mickey and Minnie’s Surprise Party at Sea will take place one afternoon during 7-night sailings on the Fantasy and will feature Disney characters, songs, and food including Mickey Ice Cream Bars, Mickey pretzels, and even a specialty drink in a Mickey-shaped cup.

New Ticket Deal Announced for Early 2019 in Disneyland

Disneyland Resort has announced a limited-time ticket offer and hotel offer for dates in early 2019.
For a limited time, guests can visit a Disneyland theme park for $70 per day with the purchase of a three-day, one park per day ticket.
The offer also includes one Magic Morning, an early morning admission option to Disneyland park, on select mornings.
This ticket offer is available for online purchase today through May 18. The tickets can be used for visits January 7 through May 23, 2019 (blockout dates of Apr. 14-22 apply).
