ABC Family Starts Its Annual ‘Countdown to 25 Days of Christmas’ Programming Event on November 20

We haven’t made it through Halloween yet, but ABC Family is already thinking about Christmas, and their annual Countdown to 25 Days of Christmas programming events kicks off next month.

On Tuesday, November 26, the original action-comedy movie Christmas Bounty premieres at 7 p.m. ET on the network. The movie stars WWE superstar Mike “The Miz” Mizanin and Francia Raisa (The Secret Life of The American Teenager).

In the movie, Raisa plays Tory Bell, a former bounty hunter turned elementary school teacher who returns to New Jersey to deal with a former enemy. Her fiancé follows her home and unwittingly becomes involved with the bounty hunting mission. The situation is complicated further because Bell must work with her ex-boyfriend played by Mizanin. Ultimately Bell must choose her new life with her fiancé or her former life as a bounty hunter.

The Countdown to 25 Days of Christmas programming event airs Wednesday, November 20 through Saturday November 30.

Other highlights of the event include a Charlie Brown marathon on November 26 that includes Race for Your Life Charlie Brown, Snoopy Come Home, Bon Voyage, Charlie Brown, and A Boy Named Charlie Brown.

A three-day Harry Potter marathon concludes on November 30 with the network television premiere of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2.
