If running through a giant obstacle course with 23 other contestants in order to win $50,000 sounds like fun, then have we got some news for you: the producers of ABC Television’s “Wipeout” will be holding two open casting calls during the month of February.
The show is seeking:
- both men and women over 18 years of age;
- applicants must be legal residents of the U.S.;
- applicants must be able to swim; and
- they should be fun, strong-willed, outgoing, and have a great sense of humor.
Producers stress that you need not be an athlete to participate.
Those interested have two options for applying to audition:
1. Go to the producer’s website, complete an online application, and upload a photo. If interested, the casting department will contact you for an audition.
2. Complete the application on the producer’s website, including a photo, and attend an open casting call on one of the two dates listed below. Please also bring your completed application, as well as a copy of your driver’s license and your health insurance card (if applicable.)
Open casting calls will take place on two Saturdays in February, at two different locations:
