Three A-List celebrities are reported to be in serious talks to join the cast of the Greatest Muppet Movie Ever Made, the new Muppets movie in the works. According to About.com, Amy Adams, Chris Cooper and Rashida Jones are nearing an agreement to be in the upcoming movie by Jason Segel and Nicholas Stoller.

Details are sketchy but the story will apparently find the Muppets fighting to save their old studio. If their deals go through, Adams will play Segel’s girlfriend, Cooper will play a villain, and Jones will play an executive at ABC
The film is scheduled to begin production in November of this year and be released in December of 2011.
