AT&T U-verse Signs Agreement with Disney

17 January 2013 No Comment

Sources have announced that AT&T U-verse and The Walt Disney Co. have reached a distribution agreement that will allow AT&T subscribers access to Disney content across multiple platforms: including television, smartphones, gaming consoles, tablets and computers.

The new agreement will provide 70 Disney services to customers, including ABC, ABC Family, Disney XD, Disney Channel, Disney Junior and a variety of ESPN channels.

Says Jeff Weber, president of content and advertising sales for AT&T Home Solutions:

We’re proud to deliver more Disney content and services to U-verse customers across the screens they watch most. Our U-verse customers expect access to content when they want it, where they want it, and this renewal gives them more value and access to a variety of live and on demand content in and outside the home.

As of this writing, there has been no word on how long this agreement will last.
