‘Beauty and the Beast’ Inspires New Merchandise at Disney Parks

Earlier this summer the Beauty and the Beast Vinylmation series debuted to much fanfare with collectors. The series is nearly sold out, but there are more ‘Beauty and the Beast’-inspired products arriving soon at the Disney Parks.

If you’ve visited New Fantasyland at the Magic Kingdom chances are you’ve seen the fountain outside Gaston’s Tavern featuring none other than Gaston himself. And if you love that fountain as much as Gaston does, you can bring home a statue that resembles it thanks to the art and collectibles team at Disney. The 14.5 inch tall statue was designed by Costa Alavezos at the Disney Design Group.

Fans of Lumiere can take home a new 11-inch tall figurine of the lovable candle – and the candles light up and flicker thanks to an on/off switch on the base.

Younger fans of Belle and the Beast can stock up on some new toys including a Gaston archery playset, a 1,000 piece Thomas Kincade puzzle, and a set of figurines featuring characters from the film. There will also be a Belle tea set that includes a talking Mrs. Potts and Chip.

And if you’re looking to add some magical décor to your home, you can find a Beauty and the Beast tapestry throw at the Disney Parks online store. The home and décor team at Disney is also working on a 54-inch by 35-inch tapestry that would look great on one of the walls of your castle.

All of these items can soon be found at Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resorts.
