New ‘Doctor Strange’ Show Coming to Marvel Day at Sea on Disney Cruise Line

The Disney Cruise Line’s Marvel Day at Sea has added a new, interactive show starring Doctor Strange.
During the show families will be invited to join Doctor Strange on a journey to explore the Mystic Arts.
The new show will feature projections and special effect, transporting guests to the New York Sanctum Santorum where Doctor Strange lives. Kids in the audience will be called upon to become apprentices and will receive a certificate at the end of their “training.”

Full Roster of Marvel Characters Announced for Marvel Day at Sea

Marvel Super Heroes are set to sail on the Disney Cruise Line this fall and again next year as part of the Marvel Day at Sea event.
Characters set to appear include Black Widow, Hawkeye, Black Panther, Loki, Iron Man, Star-Lord, Gamora, Groot, Spider-Man, Captain America, Thor, and Doctor Strange.
This will be the first Disney Cruise Line appearance for Black Panther, Loki, Iron Man, Star-Lord, Gamora, and Groot.

Disney Parks Moms Panel Applications Open September 6

It’s that time of year again – time for the application process for the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
The 2018 search for the next group of panelists opens Wednesday, September 6 and runs through September 13.
The Disney Parks Moms Panel celebrated its 10th anniversary panel this year. The group is made up of moms, dads, aunts, uncles, grandparents, and Disney experts who answer questions from guests about the theme parks, cruise line, DVC, and more.

Celebrate Halloween at the Magic Kingdom and on Disney Cruise Line

It’s time to start planning your Halloween celebration at the Magic Kingdom or on the Disney Cruise Line!
This year’s Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party kicks off August 25 and the Halloween on the High Seas celebrations start in September on board Disney Cruise Line.
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party runs for a record 32 nights from August 25 through November 1. The party features Happy HalloWishes Fireworks,  Mickey’s Boo-to-You Halloween Parade, trick-or-treating, the Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular, and more.

Disney’s Castaway Cay Named Top Cruise Line Private Island

Disney Cruise Line’s Castaway Cay has been named the top cruise line private island in the annual Cruise Critic Cruisers’ Choice Destination Awards.
This was the second year in a row that Castaway Cay has received this award from Cruise Critic.
Castaway Cay was also named the most highly rated Caribbean island overall among Cruise Critic members.
The Cruise Critic Cruiser’s Choice Destination Awards are based on feedback from cruisers that has been gathered on the Cruise Critic website over the past year.

Disney Cruise Line Planning Three New Ships in Expansion

The news coming out of D23 wasn’t just about the exciting new things coming to the Disney Parks and Resorts. We also heard big news about the Disney Cruise Line.
Bob Chapek, Chairman of the Walt Disney Parks and Resorts announced that Disney Cruise Line is building three new ships – which is an update to the announcement in 2016 that two new ships were being added to the fleet.

Broadway Stars Joining Entertainment Lineup on Disney Cruise Line

Guests sailing on the Disney Magic and Disney Wonder this summer have a chance to catch some Broadway stars as part of the on-ship entertainment.
The Stars Set Sail live concert series presented by Disney Theatrical Productions features several Broadway stars on most European cruises this summer.
Each of the shows is unique, showcasing the star’s theatrical repertoire.

Disney Fantasy to Begin Visiting Aruba on 10- and 11-Night Cruises

Disney Cruise Line’s Disney Fantasy is beginning new 10- and 11-night cruises to the Southern Caribbean with stops in new ports of call including Aruba, Curaçao, Barbados, Martinique, St. Kitts and Tortola.
The stop in Aruba includes new shore excursions for guests to experience including a 4×4 North Coast Adventure and Beach Break.
This excursion includes an off-road adventure on the island and a an afternoon break at Arashi Beach.

‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ Characters Announced as Part of Marvel Day at Sea on Disney Cruise Line

Several of the Guardians of the Galaxy have been announced as part of the Marvel Day at Sea onboard the Disney Magic this fall.
Guests will be able to meet Star-Lord, Gamora, and Groot during Marvel Day at Sea.
Marvel Day at Sea will also feature an all-new adult-exclusive experience in Fathoms nightclub which has been transformed into a Ravager hideout.
Music for the nighttime event will be inspired by Star-Lord’s mix tape.
This fall’s Marvel Day at Sea will also include meet-and-greets with Super Heroes and Villains and much more.
