Planet Hollywood Observatory at Disney Springs to Offer More ‘Star Presence’ and a Counter Service Option

The redesigned Planet Hollywood Observatory officially reopened in January, but the restaurant held an official ribbon cutting ceremony last week with actress Reese Witherspoon in attendance.
The restaurant is planning on adding more “star presence” – meaning guests should probably expect to see more celebrities at the restaurant.
Celebrity chef Guy Fieri is the creator of the new burger menu at Planet Hollywood Observatory.

Amorette’s Patisserie in Disney Springs Now Offering Cake Decorating Experience

Amorette’s Patisserie in Disney Springs is now offering a new Cake Decorating Experience where guests can learn to decorate cakes like the pros.
The cake decorating experience starts March 31 and reservations are now open and must be booked in advance. The reservations will be for every Friday through May 5 from 8:45 a.m. until 10:30 a.m.
During the experience guests can enjoy complimentary coffee, mimosas, bellinis while working with the pros at the Patisserie to decorate a Mickey Dome Cake.

‘Cars 3’ Road to the Races Tour Kicks Off March 23 at Disney Springs

Cars 3 drives into theaters on June 16, but a new ‘Road to the Races’ nationwide tour inspired by the films kicks off this weekend at Disney Springs.
The Road to the Races tours stars March 23 and runs through March 26 at Disney Springs and it’s fun for the whole family.

The Dress Shop is Coming to Disney World at End of March

A new clothing store - The Dress Shop on Cherry Tree Lane – is slated to open at the Marketplace Co-Op in Disney Springs at the end of this month.
The store was created by Disney Parks Merchandise and will feature a collection of dresses that are inspired by Disney Parks attractions, icons, and characters.
Outfits at The Dress Shop feature nods to it’s a small world, Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room, The Haunted Mansion, and even Orange Bird.

If you’re celebrating St. Patrick’s Day at Disney World, there’s a great selection of specialty foods, drinks, and merchandise.

Mighty St. Patrick’s Festival Starts Today at Raglan Road in Disney Springs

It’s time to wear your green and celebrate all things Irish at this year’s Mighty St. Patrick’s Festival at Raglan Road Irish Pub and Restaurant in Disney Springs!
The annual celebration starts today, March 16 and runs through March 19 so you can celebrate all weekend.
Guests at Raglan Road will have a chance to enjoy traditional Irish food, beer (including an exclusive beer from Orange Blossom Brewing Company), and great entertainment. The specialty beer is called Paddy’s (Not Patty’s) Pilsner and it’s brewed with Orange Blossom Honey.

New Kiehl’s Store Opens in Disney Springs

Disney Springs has welcomed another new retailer – Kiehl’s Since 1851. The skin and hair care store opened March 3 and is the sixth Florida location for the New York-based retailer.
The store at Disney Springs mirrors the original New York Flagship store, which started in 1851 as an apothecary. The new story has a “New York apothecary” vibe.
Guests visiting the 1,681 square foot store will find a personal consultation table, a “men’s destination,” natural and sustainable material, and more.
