Happy first weekend of March! It’s been another busy week in Disney news so let’s dive right in.
We got an update on the new Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge. The new DVC property is slated to open July 17, with sales to members beginning March 8. Sales for the general public start in April.

Sales are slated to begin on March 8 for Disney Vacation Club members interested in the new Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge.
The new villas and cabins were inspired by the “legendary mining and railroad history of the Pacific Northwest” and will feature rustic elegance with modern designs.
The new villas and cabins will feature 184 “modern, nature-inspired vacation homes” including one- and two-bedroom villas, deluxe studios, and three-bedroom Grand Villas that sleep 12. Each unit features kitchen areas, storage space, and private patios or balconies.

Disney’s Wilderness Lodge is in the middle of a huge construction project, adding waterfront cabins and now a brand new bar and grill is open near the water’s edge.
Geyser Point Bar & Grill is the new bar-quick service-table service restaurant at the Wilderness Lodge.
Guests can enjoy drinks and small plates in the bar area, including some unique cocktails. The restaurant also features a quick service window serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort looks to be preparing for a major construction project.
Permits were recently filed with the South Florida Water Management District for a project at Caribbean Beach Resort.
The permits confirm that a multi-story building is set to replace most of the buildings in the resort’s Barbados village. Six smaller buildings are also in the plans.
