New Trailer for ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’ Released

Star Wars fans got a real treat during the Monday Night Football game on ESPN. That’s when the second trailer for Star Wars: The Last Jedi premiered.
Earlier in the evening the new movie poster for the film debuted online and it features all the major players from the film.
The new trailer leaves a lot of unanswered questions including who is Supreme Leader Snoke addressing? Why is Luke so angry? And, is Kylo Ren really extending his hand in peace to Rey?

Epcot Celebrates 35th Anniversary

Epcot celebrated its 35th anniversary on Sunday, October 1 with special events, performances, specialty food items, merchandise, and more.
The celebration kicked off with a special ceremony at the Fountain of Nations where George A. Kalogridis, president of Walt Disney World Resort, spoke.
Voices of Liberty and the Mariachi Cobre were also part of the ceremony – both of the groups have been part of Epcot since it opened on October 1, 1982.

The Walt Disney Company Commits $1 Million to Hurricane Harvey Relief

The Walt Disney Company and its ABC affiliate KTRK-Tv have pledged $1 million each to Hurricane Harvey Relief via the American Red Cross.
Harvey struck the Texas Gulf Coast last Friday evening as a category 4 hurricane and has subsequently dumped nearly 50 inches of rain on the Houston area since Saturday. The entire region is covered with flood waters.
On Thursday, August 31, Disney|ABC Television Group will hold a ‘Day of Giving’ to benefit those impacted by Harvey.

More Celebrity Narrators Announced for This Year’s Candlelight Processional

We have exciting news about this year’s Candlelight Processional at Epcot – several more celebrity narrators have been announced.
Actors Matt Bomer (White Collar) and Warrick Davis (Wicket the Ewok in Star Wars: Return of the Jedi) have been announced as new narrators this year.
Returning this year are Chandra Wilson (Grey’s Anatomy) and Disney Legend Whoopi Goldberg.
The list of narrators for this year are:

Check Out this Preview of the Merchandise for the 2017 Epcot Food and Wine Festival

The 2017 Epcot Food and Wine Festival begins August 31 and Disney is giving guests a sneak peek at the commemorative merchandise for this year.
This year’s slate of merchandise features 75 items celebrating everything about the Food and Wine Festival.
Guests will also find merchandise that celebrates Epcot’s 35th anniversary (which happens on October 1) and items featuring Figment and Remy.
Items include Disney pins, a Chef Figment ear hat, apparel (including a fun Figment apron), artwork, drinkware including coffee cups and Tervis tumblers, and more.

Fun Fall Events at the Walt Disney World Resort

It’s hard to believe but summer is almost over and that means fall is just around the corner! And fall at the Walt Disney World Resort is a magical time of year.

D23 Expo Disney Parks and Resorts Panel Reveals New Projects for Walt Disney World Resort

The Disney Parks and Resorts Panel at the D23 Expo was full of exciting announcements about the Walt Disney World Resort including new attractions, new hotels, and even new transportation options.
First at Epcot, a brand new Ratatouille attraction is coming to the France Pavilion, expanding the pavilion’s size. The attraction will be similar to the 4D attraction at Disneyland Paris.
