Many fans of SOAPnet have recently been concerned over the news that one of their favorite channels would abruptly stop broadcasting its usual programming on March 23, as it made way for the brand new Disney Junior channel.  However, sources from SOAPnet have reached out to DisZine to explain that the transition would be more gradual.

Disneyland park’s The Magic, The Memories, and You! nighttime spectacular will be featuring a special segment to debut February 1, just in time for Valentine’s Day.
Inspired by some of the most romantic moments in Disney animation, Cinderella’s Castle and it’s a small world will be covered in roses during one sequence, while transforming into a star-filled sky during another segment of the show. While a fixture at Downtown Disney for several years now, Disney has announced that Happy Haunting, a two day free trick-or-treating event at the Central Florida resort, has been discontinued. The event typically took place October 30 and 31, but Zoraya Suarez, a Disney World media relations manager, said that due to overcrowding the event no longer offers a good guest experience.

Over the weekend, I had the opportunity to visit with friends who were in town at Walt Disney World.  One thing led to another, and we found ourselves at Disney’s Hollywood Studios Friday night, the opening day of Disney Hollywood Studios’ updated attraction, Star Tours.
