Start your engines and celebrate Father’s Day at the third annual Car Masters Weekend at Downtown Disney West Side.

The classic car show with a modern twist features all things Cars including a meet and greet with characters from Disney/Pixar’s Cars and Cars 2. Automotive designer Chip Foose and Cars filmmaker Jay Ward are scheduled to host celebrity chats on the Car Masters Stage during the weekend. Foose contributed to the design of Ramone in Cars and will also be available for autographs.

On Sunday, June 16, car enthusiasts from the Muscle Car Network of Central Florida will display more than 150 classic, muscle, and exotic cars. Families will have a chance to vote on their favorites and get their photos taken with Lightning McQueen, Mater, and Finn McMissle.

Over at Splitsville guests will have a chance to dance the night away the first Car Masters Weekend Sock Hop on Saturday, June 15 from 6-9 p.m. The event will feature live entertainment, a bowling competition, a buffet, raffle prizes, and more. A limited number of tickets will be available starting June 5 at DisneyCarEvent.com for $69 per person.

Throughout the weekend guests will have a chance to test drive remote control Cars 2 RideMakerz models, see vehicles from the Exotic Driving Experience at the Walt Disney World Speedway, watch live performances by the Car Masters Singers, and pose for pictures inside the newest Chevrolet models at the Chevrolet Showcase. Fans of Cars and Cars 2 can also purchase tickets for an all-day movie marathon at the AMC Downtown Disney 24.

Car Masters Weekend takes place June 15 and 16 from 9:30 a.m. until 6 p.m. each day. For more information visit DisneyCarEvent.com.
