December Merchandise Events Announced for the Walt Disney World Resort

Just in time for the true start of the holiday shopping season, the December merchandise events have been announced for the Walt Disney World Resort.

Starting out the month is a meet-and-greet with Disney Traditions artist Jim Shore on December 1 from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Heritage Manor at the American Adventure Pavilion in Epcot. Jim will be signing some of his new releases.

And from now until December 29, the Precious Moments holiday collection from doll maker Linda Rick is available at Once Upon a Toy in the Downtown Disney Marketplace and Heritage Manor.

On December 4-8 at the Art of Disney in Downtown Disney fans can meet artist Greg McCullough. Greg will also be appearing on December 11-15 and 18-22. Department 56 artist Jackie Geiger will be signing new releases on December 6 and 7 at the Heritage Manor in the American Adventure Pavilion. She’ll also be celebrating some new releases including Mickey’s Christmas Village series.

Over at Disney’s Hollywood Studios on December 7 the Animation Gallery is celebrating the limited edition release of Last Resort featuring retro Mickey, Minnie, and Pluto on a holiday gone wrong. The Ink & Paint artists associated with this artwork will make a special appearance from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. and again from 2-5 p.m.

Disney-inspired artist Larry Dotson is appearing at Art of Disney in Downtown Disney on December 9-15 and again from the 19-22 at the Main Street Cinema in the Magic Kingdom. Artist David E. Doss will be at the Art of Disney from December 16-23 and again from the 27-30.

This month’s Disney Trading Night is scheduled for December 17 from 6-9 p.m. at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.

And just in time for those last minute Christmas gifts, the Animation Series 4 Vinylmation are appearing on December 20. Disney Design Group artists will be on hand for a special appearance from 5-7 p.m., and on December 20 and 21 there will be a special Chamilia Trunk Show at Tren-D.
