Disney Channel star Demi Lovato recently turned 18! But the teen queen didn’t hoard gifts for her special day — she gave one instead!
“I just bought a house,” Lovato told People, “for me to give [that] to my family on my birthday, that was the best present.”
Staying close to Los Angeles, Lovato purchased a Mediterranean style house in the suburbs. While her family moves into the home on the property, Lovato herself will be living in a house in the backyard.
“It’s got pretty much everything you could possibly imagine in it,” she said. “It’s the most beautiful, homey-feeling house. I love it.”
