Disney Junior Canada has acquired the CGI cartoon series Bananas in Pyjamas – specifically, the first and second seasons of the revamped toon.
Originally, the show aired as a live-action series but the bananas were given a cartoon reboot by Southern Star Entertainment and Southern Star Singapore for ABC in Australia. Disney Junior Canada has picked up the animated version of the series. Previously, the show had also aired in the UK, Latin America, Belgium, Norway and the United States.
Bananas in Pyjamas follows the adventures of B1 and B2 and all of their friends in Cuddlestown. The series will begin airing on Disney Junior Canada March 2 at 10 a.m. ET.
