Coming this fall to a TV near you, one of Disney’s first Marvel-ous lauches, the animated series: “The Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes.”

Word is that the show debut this Fall on Disney’s premier “boy channel” XD to “prime younger audiences for 2012′s live-action ‘Avengers.’” Disney Channel Entertainment President, Gary Marsh, said the network has been “pouring through the library of 7,000 Marvel characters looking for the next ‘Spider-Man.’”

Right now, the Avengers is slated for 26 episodes, and there’s no confirmation (but possibly there is hope) that Hulk and Spiderman might show up in the series.
