The Walt Disney World Resort has announced major updates for two wildly popular attractions in the theme parks.
A third screen will be added to Soarin’ at Epcot and the rumored expansion of the track at Toy Story Midway Mania in Disney’s Holllywood Studios is official.
These attractions are two of the most popular at Walt Disney World.
In addition to adding another theater at Soarin’ – which will allow an increased ride capacity – Disney is also updating the the screens and the projection system for the attraction.
There have been rumors of new footage being added to the ride but there’s no official word about that.
Disney says these updates will be completed by late 2016 but there is no word yet regarding possible closures of the attractions to allow for the refurbishments.
