Disney Cruise Line At-Sea Internet Switching from Pay-Per-Minute to Data Allotment

Disney Cruise Line has announced a change in the way guests will pay for Internet usage while at sea.

Disney Cruise Line’s Connect@Sea Internet is switching from per-minute plans to data allotment plans. The new plans will include a pay-as-you-go plan and a 1GB plan. Guests will receive detailed brochures in their staterooms. Information will also be available at the onboard Internet cafes and at Guest Services.

Guests sailing on the Disney Magic can already take advantage of the new packages, while the data allotment plans will be introduced on the Disney Dream on February 16, the Disney Wonder on February 26, and the Disney Fantasy on March 8.

Internet usage can be tracked via a meter that appears on a guest’s browser, and Connect@Sea will also email guests to notify them when they have used 25 percent, 75 percent, and 100 percent of their package.
