Disney Cruise Line Kicks Off Alaska Itinerary with ‘Kids Sail Free’ Offer

The Disney Wonder is rolling out a new promotion in hopes of getting its expansion into the Alaska cruise market off to a strong start.

In the new promotion, which is available for most dates between May 3 and June 7 – children sail for free when accompanied by two adults paying full fare.  The offer is good for bookings within the same cabin, and includes oceanview and verandah stateroom categories.  The offer pertains only to the Disney Wonder, which is currently sailing out of Los Angeles to the Mexican Riviera, but will begin voyages to Alaskan ports of call in May for four months.

The repositioning of the Wonder from the Caribbean to Alaska marks the first time that Disney Cruise Line has offered an Alaskan itinerary.  The 2,700-passenger ship will sail out of Vancouver, British Columbia, and plans to call on  Tracy Arm, Skagway, Juneau, and Ketchikan.

Rates for the seven-night Alaska itinerary begin at $1,249 per person, based upon double occupancy, for an oceanview stateroom.  Guests who are interested in taking advantage of the “kids sail free” offer should mention the discount code KFO when making reservations.  To learn more about this offer or Disney cruises in general, or to book a voyage, please visit the Disney Cruise website, or call 888-DCL-2500.
