Disney Friends for Change Aims to Provide More Grants in 2014

The Disney Friends for Change program has, to date, funded more than 630 youth-led service projects and programs. And they’re aiming to do even more.

This year, Disney Friends for Change wants to distribute 150 grants of $500 and $1,000 for service projects that will take place on or around Global Youth Service Day (April 11-13).

Disney Friends for Change is looking for projects that highlight the creativity and commitment of young people who are working to meet the needs of others. The $500 grants will help the change-makers as they make positive changes.

If the project is a high-impact project, applicants can request an additional $500 grant to support their work.

Youth ages 5-18 who live in all 50 states and the District of Columbia are eligible to apply for a $500 grant. Applicants who are younger than 13 must have someone older than 13 submit their application.

Applications for the Disney Friends for Change grants are due by midnight tonight, February 6. For more information visit Disney Friends for Change.
