Disney Gives $100,000 Grant to Environmental Group

The Disney Worldwide Conservation Fund (DWCF) has given a $100,000 grant to The Nature Conservancy’s Leaders in Environmental Action for the Future Program (LEAF.)

Says Dr. Beth Stevens, senior vice president of Corporate Citizenship, Environment & Conservation at Disney:

At Disney, kids and conservation are important to who we are as a company. We have great confidence that the LEAF program will continue this commitment into the future. We know that the experiences they are helping to create for kids in nature are critical to inspiring the next generation of conservation leaders.

Both The Nature Conservancy and The Walt Disney Company have partnered together for more than two decades in their mutual dedication towards protecting the environment. As of this writing, DWCF has given more than $20 million in support of various conservation programs throughout the world.
