Disney Infinity Still Going Strong with Three Million Starter Packs Sold Since August 2013

Disney Infinity has already sold three million starter kits and appears to be a bona fide hit with fans.

The game allows players to create their own adventures in a Virtual Toy Box while mixing Disney and Pixar characters, and it was on the top 10 list of best-selling games for 2013.

Each week Disney Interactive – the brains behind Disney Infinity – releases themed Toy Box worlds that players can download for free. Recently the team released a Disney-created Toy Box called “The Big Game” just in time for the Super Bowl. Fans that downloaded the Toy Box could play in a Disney Infinity-themed football stadium.

Disney Infinity also invites players to submit their own Toy Boxes each week through a new challenge. A recent Toy Box challenge was called “Disney Parks” and the winning Toy Boxes included Indiana Jones, Tower of Terror, Fantasyland, Space Mountain, and Fantasmic!.

Throughout the month of February fans can enter the Rapunzel Saves the Day Sweepstakes for a chance to win a video game console, a Disney Infinity Starter Pack, and the Rapunzel figure for the game. A new winner is announced each week.
