Disney-Inspired Home For Sale in Los Angeles

A home built by Disney theme park designer Robert F. McDonnell has been placed on the market for $1.5999 million.

Graystone Manor, located in the exclusive La Canada Flintridge neighborhood in Los Angeles, CA, features three stories on a sprawling 1-acre property. Other features include three bedrooms, four bathrooms, leaded and stained glass recreations of gas lighting fixtures, a vaulted ceiling game room and an English Pub-style wet bar. There are even wrought iron hardware included on almost all the doors and windows, which were brought in from England.

McDonnell worked as a senior designer for The Walt Disney Co., and wanted to create a home in the unique style made famous by various Disney locations. While the home was originally built in 1937, McDonnell added all of the Disney-inspired touches in 1971.
