Disney Releases More Live T.V. Apps for Comcast Subscribers

15 June 2012 No Comment

In late May, The Walt Disney Co. announced plans for a mobile app that would enable Comcast subscribers to watch Disney Channel on the go. Now this app, along with two additional apps, have been released and available to consumers.

These new mobile apps are not available to those who are not currently subscribed to Comcast, and can only be purchased as a bundle. Additionally, these mobile apps can only be purchased by subscribers who pay for bundles of channels together on a monthly plan.

Similar to Disney’s WatchESPN application, the new apps will allow subscribers of the Disney Channel, Disney Junior and Disney XD to watch live feeds of these channels on their iPhones or iPads. The apps are available now from the Apple Store.
