If you are a Disney fan or a Vera Bradley fan — or both — we are about to make your day.
Disney has announced a partnership with handbag and accessory maven Vera Bradley that will bring a line of Disney-inspired handbags and accessories to the parks this fall. And just in time for the Epcot Flower and Garden Festival, which opens today, guests can stop by Festival Center to get a glimpse of the bags.
Cathy Dawson, merchandiser for accessories at Disney Parks, spoke about her excitement regarding the upcoming line:
We are thrilled to introduce Vera Bradley to our accessories assortment. In recent years, we’ve seen several guests in our parks and resorts sporting fun, colorful bags by Vera Bradley. Even our Disney Cruise Line team recently added some items by Vera Bradley to the Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy. We thought it would be wonderful to add a splash of Disney to these popular and colorful accessory items.
In keeping with her normal practice, the lines featuring Disney motifs will have names, just like Bradley’s other lines. The black background pattern is called “Midnight with Mickey,” and the pink pattern will be known as “Just Mousing Around.”
Once released later this year, guests will find the bags at select locations throughout Walt Disney World and Disneyland Parks. They will also be sold online through the Disney Parks online store.
