Disney Vacation Club Offers Significant Discount on Annual Passes for Walt Disney World

Members of the Disney Vacation Club timeshare program will be receiving a great new perk beginning October 1. Announced this week by DVC Senior Vice-President and General Manager, Claire Bilby, the discount will apply to the purchase of a Walt Disney World Premium Annual Pass. The regular price of a Premium Annual Pass is $699, which in the past DVC members have purchased at a discounted rate of $559, but from October 1 to December 31, 2012, members may purchase these passes for $399. That’s a significant savings. A Premium Annual Pass provides a year’s worth of unlimited access to all four Walt Disney World theme parks, and the two water parks- Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach. The Premium Annual Pass also allows access to Disney Quest Indoor Interactive Theme Park, ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, and covers greens fees at Disney Oak Trail Golf Course.

A Premium Annual Pass is not activated as a ticket until it is used the first time. So, if you are a DVC member and have already purchased an Annual Pass, you can still take advantage of this offer by purchasing it now (between Oct. 1 and Dec. 31, 2012), but waiting to activate it until after your current pass has expired. Passes purchased on this offer must be redeemed by December 31, 2013.

The savings continue with the launch of a new ongoing member perk – 10% off merchandise at all Disney owned and operated merchandise locations at Disneyland, Walt Disney World, Disney’s Vero Beach Resort, Disney’s Hilton Head Island Resort and Aulani, a Disney Resort & Spa, Ko Olina, Hawai’i. These discounts will be available beginning October 1. DVC members should visit the DVC member web page for more information.
