Disney World Announces Passholder Gates for Annual Passholders

Magic KingdomWalt Disney World Resort Annual Passholders can start using a specially designated gate to enter the Disney theme parks starting today.

These “Passholder” gates allow those with an Annual Pass to bypass the long holiday lines at the theme parks’ gates.

This new Annual Passholder benefit starts today and will run through the end of January according to Disney.

The special Passholder gates are a way for Disney to say “thanks” to its Annual Passholder during the busiest time of year for the theme parks.

At the four theme parks – Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom – Passholders will find signage directing them to the special gates. The signs will be posted after the security checkpoints at the theme parks.

Guests who are interested in becoming Annual Passholders can take advantage of Disney’s current 13 for 12 rates which gives guests 13 months for the price of 12. This offer is good through January 3.

  • I just got our Passholder newsletter today and saw this awesome news — I’m so glad Disney is doing this for us Passholders during the holiday season! 🙂

  • Used the passholder lane once. They have the lanes set up so far away from the general lines that sometimes it’s pointless to use them, especially if the regular lines aren’t crowded. What would be better is giving passholders either free access or discounted access to the new Express Transportation.
