Disney World’s Dog-Friendly Hotels Policy Likely to End in October

disneysyachtclubresortLast fall the Walt Disney World Resort started a pilot program that allowed guests to bring their dogs to stay in their hotel room at four Walt Disney World Resort Hotels.

Now it appears – based on a date on the official Walt Disney World Resort website – that the pilot program is ending on October 15, 2018.

The “Dog-Friendly Disney Resorts” page says: “This pilot program is currently available to Guests with reservations at these Disney Resort hotels now through October 15, 2018 as part of a test.”

The hotels currently participating in the program are Art of Animation, Port Orleans Riverside, Yacht Club, and Fort Wilderness Cabins.

Guests who have a reservation at these four hotels through the end of the test program can bring their pooches with them. At check in they’ll receive Pluto’s Welcome amenity, which features dog-friendly items.
