Disney XD Orders Fourth Season of Hit Live Action Comedy Series ‘Kickin’ It’

The Wasabi Warriors will be back next year. A fourth season of Kickin’ It has been ordered by Disney XD.

The martial-arts inspired series has been one of Disney XD’s highest rated series since its premiere in June 2011.

Kickin’ It continues to pack a punch with relatable storytelling, aspirational characters and non-stop action,” said Adam Bonnett, Executive Vice President, Original Programming, Disney Channels Worldwide. “Viewers have watched the Wasabi Warriors grow from inexperienced misfits into inspiring martial artists and we look forward to continuing their journey in the fourth season.”

The cast for the new season will include Jason Earles as Rudy, black-belt martial artist Leo Howard as Jack, Mateo Arias as Jerry, and Dylan Riley Snyder as Milton. Olivia Holt has played Kim for the past three seasons but is leaving the series to star in the new Disney Channel comedy series I Didn’t Do It which premieres early next year.

The current season of Kickin’ It airs Monday nights on Disney XD. It follows the Bobby Wasabi crew as they face new challenges and learn more about themselves and one another.

Production for the fourth season resumes this November in Los Angeles. Season four will premiere in 2014. Currently Kickin’ It is Disney XD’s number one series in total viewers, kids 6-14, kids 6-11, and kids 2-11.
