Disneyland Park Celebrates ‘Three Kings Day’ for the First Time

If celebrating Three Kings Day, or Día de los Reyes Magos as it is known in many Latin American countries, is part of your holiday, you’ll be happy to know that the celebration continues throughout this weekend at Disneyland Resort.

For the first time ever, Disneyland is celebrating this beloved holiday, which traditionally signals the end of the Christmas season.  The celebration marks the occasion when the three kings, or wise men, followed the star to Bethlehem and presented their valuable treasures of gold and incense to the Christ child.

Disney has been celebrating Three Kings Day all weekend, but you can still catch the party if you act fast.  Celebrations will take place today from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. in Zocalo Park in Disneyland Park’s Frontierland.  Guest will be treated to special displays and entertainment commemorating Western and Mexican culture.  There will also be special food as well as activities for the little ones to mark the day.
