Disneyland’s Holiday Celebration Features ‘Frozen’ Characters

world of color olafThe winter holiday season kicks off at Disneyland Resort on November 13 with a little help from Anna, Elsa, and Olaf.

The Frozen stars will join the resort’s annual holiday celebration as part of ‘A Christmas Fantasy’ parade which is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. Anna and Elsa will join Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and Santa Claus in the parade.

At Disney California Adventure the special holiday version of World of Color – Winter Dream – begins November 13 and runs through January 6, 2015. Songs from the Frozen soundtrack have been added to the show including “Do You Want to Build a Snowman?” and “Love is an Open Door.”

Everyone’s favorite snowman, Olaf, also returns to World of Color – Winter Dreams during the holiday season. The show will also feature winter scenes from Disney classics including Bambi and  Toy Story.

Guests can lace up their ice skates and twirl around Olaf’s Frozen Ice Rink in the Downtown Disney District. The rink opens for 60-minute sessions from 3-10 p.m. Sundays through Thursday, and 3-11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.

Olaf’s Frozen Ice Rink area also features a shopping area with Frozen toys, Arribas Brothers holiday crystals, and more. Guests can also enjoy Ghirardelli hot chocolate and snacks from La Brea Bakery.
