‘Disney’s Aladdin – A Musical Spectacular’ Set to End on January 10 After More than 14,000 Shows

aladdin at dlDisneyland’s live show Disney’s Aladdin – A Musical Spectacular is coming to the end of its 13-year run in January.

To date the show has been performed more than 14,000 times in the Hyperion Theater in Disney California Adventure. January 10 is the last date for the Aladdin show which is being replaced by a new Frozen stage show in the summer of 2016.

More than 13 million guests have enjoyed Disney’s Aladdin – A Musical Spectacular since it premiered on January 16, 2003.

The show is based on the hit animated film and features music by Alan Menken and lyrics by Howard Ashman and Tim Rice.

The song “To Be Free” by Alan Menken was written for the stage show.

If you’re headed to Disney California Adventure before January 10 make sure you stop and see the show.
