Drew Brees Bringing Football Academy to ESPN Wide World of Sports

Some of the best high school football players in the country are set to attend a football academy hosted by New Orleans Saints Quarterback Drew Brees at the ESPN Wide World of Sports.

This is the first football academy hosted by Brees, and while it’s open to all skill levels, the academy is expected to attract some of the most highly-ranked high school football players in the country. Teams from the southeast and as far away as California are scheduled to compete at the three-day academy.

The athletes will receive elite-level instruction from Brees and other NFL players and coaches. They will have a chance to learn about proper throwing motion to throwing on the run, to taking command of the huddle. Participants will be able to put what they’ve learned to the test during two days of competitive 7-on-7 competition.

The Passing Academy and 7-on-7 Tournament are scheduled for June 27-30 at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.
