Enchanted Tiki Room to Reopen at Magic Kingdom this Summer

This summer, Walt Disney World’s Enchanted Tiki Room will be getting a makeover! Sources say the show will be updated to be a “version reminiscent of the original show,” called Tropical Serenade. The park attraction was altered in 1998 to include the new name and the characters Iago from Aladdin and Zazu from The Lion King.

D23 fan club members were very excited about the news when they gathered at Disney’s Contemporary Hotel to talk about upcoming attractions – especially since the Enchanted Tiki Room has been closed since January due to a fire inside.

We’ll keep you informed of a specific opening date once we know more. Are you excited for the Enchanted Tiki Room to reopen?

  • Just caught the show in Disneyland… it had been years. It was amazing. Can’t wait for the Enchanted Tiki Room: Newly Refurbished to open at WDW.
