ESPN’s Digital Media Associates Program Provides Learning Experience for Young Professionals

dma_combo-v7For young professionals interested in digital media and who might be interested in starting their career at ESPN, the Digital Media Associates Program could be the right program.

This highly competitive program gives participants a chance to gain real-world exposure to ESPN’s digital and print platforms including video, social, and creative design. DMA program associates also have a chance to work alongside ESPN’s senior leaders.

The DMA program is designed to provide participants with a learning experience that is based on their individual objectives as they are matched to ESPN’s current business needs.

The 12-month programs gives associates a chance to rotate through a series of disciplines including editorial, mobile, video, and social, while they get a cross-functional knowledge of how ESPN’s departments serve sports fans.

“Past and present DMA’s have helped shape the program into a personalized experience,” said Joslyn Dalton, lead manager of the program. “The result is a win-win for ESPN and the candidate. Identifying immediate and specific departmental needs allows us to create a unique fit for each diversely talented Associate. Positioning them at these intersections is what differentiates the program.”
