Flower & Garden Festival Events Continue at Epcot

If you haven’t had a chance to visit the 20th Annual Flower & Garden Festival there’s still about a month left before the festival ends on May 19. This means there’s still time to experience the gardens, topiaries, food booths and other events.

The Flower Power Concert Series continues each weekend through the end of the festival. The upcoming concerts are: the Village People (April 19-21), The Orchestra featuring former members of ELO and ELO II (April 26-28), Tommy Roe (May 3-5), Herman’s Hermits featuring Peter Noone (May 10-12), and Starship starring Mickey Thomas (May 17-19).

Performances take place at the America Gardens Theater at 5:30, 6:45, and 8 p.m. each Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

If you’re looking for some tips on home improvement or sprucing up your gardens, HGTV and DIY designers give guests “how to” tips each Saturday and Sunday at 12 and 3 p.m. The schedule for upcoming presentations is: Sara Peterson, Editor in chief of HGTV Magazine (April 19-21), HGTV host Carter Oosterhouse (April 26-28), Casey Noble from Design on a Dime (May 3-5), Dan Faires from Dan Made (May 10-12), and David Bromstad from HGTV Design Star (May 17-19).

And if that’s not enough fun for the next few weeks, May 3-5 is Florida Fresh Weekend featuring the Sunshine State’s best bounty from Apalachicola to Zellwood, and don’t miss the showcase for the Florida Federation of Garden Clubs on May 10-12.
