Former Disney Executive Sues Walt Disney Studios

Glen Lajeski, a former executive vice president with Walt Disney Studios, was fired by the company in June. Now, Lajeski is suing the company saying that his contract was breached.

According to the lawsuit, Lajeski was fired around June 15, “without specifying any cause for the termination and providing no opportunity to cure.” The lawsuit also explains that Lajeski’s contract was not set to expire until 2013.

When Lajeski was first hired, he started out as the vice president of music marketing, and helped create the successful soundtrack for O Brother, Where Art Thou? as well as the soundtracks for Coyote Ugly, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Armageddon. Eventually, he was promoted to executive vice president.

As of this writing, Disney has yet to comment on the lawsuit. We’ll keep you informed with any information that comes through.
