Four Hotels at Disney World to Remain “Dog Friendly”

disneysyachtclubresortLast month we reported that it appeared that the dog friendly hotels at Disney World might be ending their pilot program on October 15. But now it looks like they’ll remain “dog friendly.”

Disney’s official page listing the details for the four dog friendly hotels – Yacht Club, Art of Animation, Port Orleans Riverside, and the Cabins at Fort Wilderness – no longer has an end date listed for what was a pilot program.

Now, the information states that those four resort hotels “have designated dog-friendly accommodations” including rooms with easy access to outdoor walkways for exercise and green spaces with pet relief areas.

Dogs are still the only pets allowed with a maximum of two dogs allowed. Only certain areas of the hotels will be pet-friendly with the majority of the hotels remaining dog-free.

Guests who bring their dogs to these dog-friendly resorts will receive a complimentary Pluto’s Welcome Kit at check-in.
