‘Frozen’ and Marvel Part of the Expansion Plan at Hong Kong Disneyland

hong kong disneylandDisney has announced a major expansion for Hong Kong Disneyland.

The plans were approved by the Legislative Council of the Hong Kong Special Administration Region and construction is slated to start in 2018 and wrap up in 2023.

The expansion includes a Frozen-themed area where guests will be transported to Arendell; a Marvel-themed area with new attractions and entertainment featuring popular Marvel superheroes; and a new area called Moana’s Village Festival that will feature new entertainment options.

The park’s iconic Sleeping Beauty Castle will also be transformed to showcase new daytime and nighttime shows and entertainment.
