‘Frozen’-themed Products Continue to Hold Bestseller Status at Retailers Nationwide

Disney’s animated hit movie Frozen continues to be a powerhouse – at the theaters and at retailers.

As the movie’s sing-along version plays at theaters nationwide, the products associated with the film are still some of the best-selling items at the Disney Store and other retailers.

Frozen-themed products are the number one property at Disney Store locations in North America for the sixth consecutive week.

During the 2013 holiday season, Frozen products made up half of the weekly top 25 selling items at the Disney Store, and was the number one selling property for girls toys, sleepwear, fashion, role play, and plush.

The most popular character from the film is Olaf the snowman, based on sales of his plush toy and other items.

The Frozen Storybook Deluxe app is the number one kids paid iPad app in 62 countries, and it is also the number one entertainment paid iPad app in 73 countries. The Frozen books and the junior novel was on The New York Times children’s bestseller list for five week following the film’s release.

Frozen will be released in a Disney Blu-ray combo pack on March 18.
