Fun Fall Events at the Walt Disney World Resort

fall at wdwIt’s hard to believe but summer is almost over and that means fall is just around the corner! And fall at the Walt Disney World Resort is a magical time of year.

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party kicks off August 25 this year (!!!) and runs for 32 nights through November 1. The party includes Mickey’s Boo-to-You Halloween Parade, Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular, Happy HalloWishes Fireworks, trick-or-treating, and more.

The dates for the party are: August 25 and 29; September 1, 7, 10, 12, 15, 17, 19, 22, 24, 26 and 29; October 1, 3, 5, 6, 9, 10, 12, 13, 15, 17, 19, 20, 22, 24, 26, 27, 29 and 31; and November 1. The annual Night of Joy concert series is planned for September 8 and 9 at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. Artists include TobyMac, MercyMe, Zach Williams, Natalie Grant, Rend Collective, Amy Grant, Stephen Curtis Chapman, and more. Tickets are $45 plus tax for one night and $69 plus tax for both nights. A new Italian restaurant is opening this fall in Disney Springs when Terralina Crafted Italian opens in the location formerly occupied by Portobello Country Italian Trattoria.

And let’s not forget about the 22nd annual Epcot Food and Wine Festival which kicks off August 31 this year and runs for a record 75 days! There will be more than 35 Marketplace Booths in celebration of Epcot’s 35th anniversary, plus celebrity chefs, culinary demonstrations, and much more.
