‘Halloween on the High Seas’ Announced for Disney Cruise Line Sailings for fall 2014

The groundhog might have just predicted six more weeks of winter, but it’s never too early to start planning a fall cruise with Disney Cruise Line.

And for all the early planners out there, Disney Cruise Line has just announced that “Halloween on the High Seas” is planned for most voyages from late September through October.

This spooky and fun Halloween celebration includes themed-parties, entertainment, and Halloween décor including The Pumpkin Tree, which magically transforms throughout the cruise.

Disney Cruise Line chefs will be serving up Halloween-themed treats including spiders cakes, Spooky Juice, and chocolate cake with pumpkin filling.

During “Halloween on the High Seas” guests can have a spooky good time at Mickey’s Mouse-querade Party where Disney characters will appear in special Halloween costumes. There will also be Haunted Stories of the Sea and a Creepy Cabaret

The interactive movie experience A Nightmare Before Christmas Sing and Scream includes a meet-and-greet with Jack Skellington himself.

The “Halloween on the High Seas” celebration will take place on most sailings on The Disney from September 27 to October 26, on the Disney Wonder from September 26 through October 31, on the Disney Dream from September 7 through October 31, and on the Disney Fantasy is from September 6 through October 25.
