hong kong dlHong Kong Disneyland has announced its fifth consecutive record-breaking year in their annual business review.

The resort also welcomed its 50-millionth guest and all this record-shattering news comes on the heels of expansions that included Toy Story Land, Grizzly Gulch, and Mystic Point.

The resort recently broke ground on its third hotel, Disney Explorers Lodge. The 750-room hotel tells the story of explorers from the “grand era of exploration” – the 1920s. The Disney Explorers Lodge is scheduled to open in 2017 and will feature an African savanna, a South American rainforest, and a Polynesian island theme.

Next year guests at Hong Kong Disneyland will have a chance to experience the first Disney theme park attraction based on a Marvel character when the Iron Man Experience opens. This attraction will be located in Tomorrowland and will let guests see Stark innovations, including the Iron Man suits, in an Expo format.

Hong Kong Disneyland celebrates its 10th anniversary this year.
