While production on his upcoming Muppets film is just slated to begin this month, it looks like director James Bobin already has his next collaboration with Disney lined up. It was recently announced that Bobin has signed on to direct Disney’s upcoming film Tribyville.

Film website The Wrap revealed the news of Bobin’s new partnership with Disney on the film, which has not yet been officially confirmed by Disney. Few details have been revealed about Tribyville, a period musical film Disney is currently acquiring from Gary Sanchez Productions. In addition to serving as director, Bobin is also the screenwriter for the film.

Bobin made his film directing debut in 2011 with the hit film The Muppets, and will serve as both director and co-screenwriter (with Nicholas Stoller) on the film’s sequel. In addition to his film work, Bobin is also known for his work as director and writer for the shows Flight of the Conchords and Da Ali G Show.

Stay tuned for more news on this intriguing new film.
