Jr. NBA World Championship Coming to ESPN Wide World of Sports in 2018

bballThe ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex is set to host the Jr. NBA World Championship on August 7-12, 2018.

The Championship will feature the top boys and girls teams ages 14 and under from around the world.

This tournament is the first of its kind and will include 16 regional champions (eight U.S. and eight international teams) in boys and girls divisions. The tournament starts in the spring of 2018 with games at various regional sites.

The global ambassadors for the Championship are Cleveland Cavaliers guard and three-time NBA champion Dwyane Wade and Los Angeles Sparks forward and WNBA champion Candace Parker.
