Limited Time Magic Events Include Princesses and a Mexican Fiesta

This week the Disney Parks are celebrating princesses, Cinco de Mayo, and glow ears with special Limited Time Magic events.

Starting Sunday May 5 and running through the end of the week, a Limited Time Magic Fiesta is happening at the Mexico Pavilion in Epcot. Guests can meet the Three Caballeros – Panchito, Jose Carioca and el Pato Donald – and enjoy special performances including marionettes and folkloric dancing. The San Angel Inn and La Hacienda are offering special menus that include Cinco de Mayo inspired drinks, appetizers, entrees, and desserts.

On Saturday, May 11, Merida will be celebrating her official royal coronation at the Magic Kingdom. The 10 current princesses will be helping Merida celebrate her special day beginning at 9:30 a.m. at Cinderella Castle. Guest will be able to purchase special limited edition Merida T-shirts at the Emporium (while supplies last).

At the Disneyland Resort, special “Glow with the Show” ear hats are being incorporated into the nightly fireworks show Magical. Guest who are wearing their “Glow with the Show” ears will find special reserved fireworks viewing areas on Main Street U.S.A. on May 10, 11, 12, 17, 18, and 19. This reserved seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
