Marvel Creates Special Edition ‘Iron Man’ Comic Book for Hospital Care Packages

Marvel-Cover-2014_0Marvel Custom Solutions creative team has created a special edition comic book for some very special kids.

The comic book – starring Iron Man and his foe Fin Fang Foom – was developed in conjunction with Child Life Council and will be given out in hospital care packages around the world. The care packages will also include Disney toys, DVDs, books, and Club Penguin memberships.

The custom comic book was created to inspire young patients and other children as they work to overcome health problems and other issues.

Only 250,000 copies of the limited edition comic will be printed. The comic book folds open to reveal a poster of Iron Man. The story of the comic book is being used a metaphor to show kids that everyone has super powers to draw upon to help get them through difficult times.

The special edition Iron Man comic features the work of writer Jim Zub, penciler Wellington Alves, inker Anderson Silva, colorist Guru eFX, letterer Joe Sabino, and cover artist Jee-Hyung.
